PhD in Biology (2008-2013) at Pablo de Olavide University. I studied the molecular mechanisms involved in cell-polarity. Postdoctsoral stage: (2013-2015), Columbia University (USA); I studied cellular confinement systems. (2015-2019), Gustave Roussy Hospital (France); I investigated the role of nucleases and helicases in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. (2019-2020), Institut Pasteur (France); I studied the repair mechanisms in G1. Currently, I joined a JdC-Incorporación at University of Malaga. Main research topics: mitochondrial integrity, reprograming metabolic, tumoral microenvironment, ROS and endothelial cell. I have been leading an innovation project, leading interdisciplinary students in their participation in the iGEM competition.
